I think maybe "BABY WANTS A BEAMER" could be considered as "Americana" or "Modern Folk"... but maybe you have other suggestions? I've recorded this four times on the 970 I bought from Mason and in this version, I added the "Baroque Strings" Multi-Pad in parts. Comments Welcome.

Hi Dave, I really like that tune because of the haunting voice of yours. It reminded me of one of my favorite tunes from the movie "Bourne Identity". It's played at the end ...
Hi Don: Thanks for "dropping by"... and I have always remembered your admonition to use as little VH as possible... if at all.
I've experimented with VH & VE on the 970 until I am blue in the face but having the ability to use it... and not know how... or even try is not in my "wheelhouse"...LOL! Next time I recut "Beamer" I'll just go solo and see if I can pull it off.
Loved those "Bourne Films." I never thought of my voice as "haunting" but maybe I can find a way to make a living scaring the bejeebers out of young'uns! LOL! Thanks for listening.
Isn't Ventura right near the Burbank Airport? I worked for a few months up in Santa Clarita and was grateful not to have to drive all the way down to LAX to catch a plane home.

Hi Dave, By haunting I meant more soulful under your skin type. Not scary Ventura is close to Santa Barbara of the 101. About 1:15 hours from LAX and and 1:30 to Burbank ... That is without traffic. Double and triple that with traffic Eric
We had relatives living in Big Bear and they picked us up in their plane at a little dusty airstrip near Santa Clarita and we flew right over Ventura on our way to Solvang. Passed the Goodyear Blimp on our way home.
Thanks for clarifying "haunting" for me... I was getting ready for a career to equal Boris Karloff... LOL! I also remember the California traffic. Here in West Mayberry, population 2025 including cats and dogs, traffic is usually a breeze.
