Now that we have looked at the physical and logical connections on OAX for MIDI let’s take the next step and connect an external device to OAX and play something. A simple example showing that we are able to play the Sonic upper keyboard and control chord changes in the Ketron style and also play a melody line with our right hand.

One of the Ketron default configurations will split the attached keyboard for you allowing the left hand to control the style section and the right hand to play a melody line.
