Genos hasn't been out long enough to replace. Korg just did a major upgrade, plus PA1000 is still new. Ketron has new keyboards and modules. The sky isn't falling yet.
all possibly true don but,......... on the other hand hope I am wrong they all can be looking in another direction then we are used to vs the old school style of arrangers to draw in the younger masses and increase profits for the future its all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$
I was hoping that Hammond would update the SK1 with a new/improved model that took some of the stuff from their newest flagship and put some of that into a revised SK1 (I though it would be called SK1-Mark II)!
Also was hoping that DSI would have a whole new synth, as I like what they are doing in recent years. Yeah, even though Genos is my primary keyboard, I'm an organ and synth geek since the 1970s-1980s! :-)

Dave Smith is still all about the prophet X released late last year...
Arturia however, is walking a new path with the micro geak
Arturia pushes like 3 synths or more every year Dave smith does one new synth every 2 years
And i think the difference in quallity is quite obvious
Altoigh i think arturia is creating some great hardware Like this new audio interface Audiofuse studio

Roland seems to be coasting along in neutral. They need to put it in gear and put on the gas or they'll continue to eat a lot of dust from the likes of Yamaha, Korg and yes Casio too as well.
By the way the new Casio Privia PX-s1000/s3000 appear to be arrangers from what I've read. They have hundreds of "rhythms" to play along with but I'm not sure if there are variations, intro's or endings. Maybe it would be better to call it a semi-arranger? Too soon to tell but hopefully Casio will clarify more on how the auto-accompaniment works.
All the best,
Mike
