Hi Everyone!

I live in Brisbane, Australia. Last month, I acquired a brand new SX-KN2600 and a secondhand SX-P50 Portable Grand Piano. I use the latter as a motherkeyboard to drive the former. That's the good part.

The bad part is that I have just been informed that the SD Audio PC writing kit is not available in Australia --- assuming that the informant is correct. I am wary of buying one from e-Bay. Could any member on Synth Zone please kindly offer any solution(s)?

Khai,
They are (were?) available in Australia, as I have just purchased the set within the last month in Melbourne. However it was packaged with a purchase of four sound expansion cards for the KN7000. As Technics has ceased producing keyboards I assume that no further production of the ancilalry items will be made. In this case probably what is being sold is the last of the stocks.

Thank you very much, Keith. I was pleasantly surprised for I did not expect a reply from anybody so soon.

How much did you pay for the set comprising the SD Audio PC Writing Kit SZ-CB7 and the four sound expansion cards for the KN7000?

Could you please kindly tell me the name of the company in Melbourne, its telephone number and email address?

Khai,
Happy to provide details but prefer to do this privately. Perhaps if you can give me an email address I can respond to that.

Hi

The Kit is based on a panasonic sd card
reader/writer .If you could buy
one or an equivilant Im sure getting the software wouldnt be a breach of copywrite
as Technics no longer exsists.
Just a thought.

Cheers Barry

Hi Bazz,

I adready acquired a SanDisk SD card reader/writer when I decided to purchase a 512M card. Both work with the Song Manager and Audio Recorder. Could I obtain a similar SD Audio PC Writing Kit from Panasonic or someone without it being bundled with something else such as a card reader/writer or some sound expansion cards?

Khai

Hi

If you have the reader/writer up and running
with song manager all you need is the Jukebox
software that converts audio to play on Kn2600

Hi Khai,

The Jukebox software will only work with the Panasonic card reader/writer unlike the Song Manager software which works with almost any reader/writer. One of the dealers in Melbourne still has the Panasonic kit available. I will email details separately.

Cheers

I stand corrected again.
