Absolutely an awesome man and musician for a 63 year old. Met him in person twice; once when he and his brother were judging sand castles on Kingston Beach in Tasmania. Then second time was when he did a music seminar at a church event called Hillsong in Castle Hill, Sydney back in 1993. A very gentle honest open human being.

Hi Alan, yes, he is an amazing musician, and a nice bloke. Incidentally, i live about 800 m from that Hillsong church you mentioned. it is a wonderful auditorium where my grandson has his school concert every year.

Back in 1993 it was known as Castle Hill Christian City Church and only had about 4000 people there, now look at it. Tommy brought his personal guitar on stage which was broken but still working. He still made it sound better than I could even dream to lol.
