Ya wanna hear a good April Fool joke?
I had cataract surgery today. For real, no joke.
While I was in prep room the nurse came to get me ready. She asked my name and birthday.
Then she asked if I was ready for my circumcision surgery! smile
Now that's funny!

Don...I’m looking to have the same procedure. Was it painful?

No pain. A little uncomfortable, but nothing bad.
Can't see much out of that eye yet, but that's normal.

Mine was done by an illegal alien, who is not licensed in the U.S. Only cost me $150., but no guarantees.

Glad to hear the prep Nurse was pulling an April Fools prank, Don... and I hear the cataract surgery procedure is now a "piece of cake." Wishing you the best for a full recovery.

My good news: After an office visit for chest pains, I was sent to the Emergency Room, monitored significantly, EKG, Cat Scan, etc. but later that evening, released to return home with an appointment with a very good Cardiologist that following Monday.

Anguished through the weekend and continued to suffer from the spinal condition, but more worried about the "ticker." Re-arranged my will, wrote my Eulogy and prepared for the worst. Monday, the Cardiologist reads the EKG and says I'm fine.

A mixed blessing. Happy to know I am not going to have to wonder about when the next chest pain will happen but wondering if three different Docs are proficient at reading an EKG? I don't plan to seek a fourth opinion! LOL!

Keep us posted about how you are doing, old friend. I put several of your songs on a CD and sometimes let it "sing me to sleep" on a player by my bedside. What I'd give for a voice like that.

Later, ----Dave

Great news Dave! I'm glad your heart passed the test!
And thanks for the nice opinion about my voice. And I can imagine it putting you to sleep! smile

Dave, a few years ago I was in the ER a couple of times a month with chest pain and all other symptoms that mimicked a heart attack ... They finally diagnosed it as esophageal spasms - acid reflux - GERD ... Have you been tested for that?

Yes my wife has had quite a few episodes of that. Several times we were certain she was having a heart attack, but it was finally diagnosed correctly. No recent problems.

Morning, Tony:

Mr. Pincushion has not been tested for GERD but I'm guessing that will be next. Thanks for the input. I'm starting Inversion Therapy for the spine and it appears to provide temporary relief. I'll know more when I get to the full inversion stage.

Thanks, ----Dave
