Medicaid does not directly fund nursing homes. Nationally, there are efforts to reduce Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security costs everywhere.

Reduction of coverage for individuals will affect total revenue, but $300,000.00 is the average cost of annual care for 5-6 residents. It's less than twice the average annual compensation for administrators, and I can bet you directors and owners aren't suffering much.

Dear old people in the photos. Sorry for the negativity, Scott. I'm glad you are around to entertain them.

It's just that I've been fighting for profit nursing home abuse and neglect for over 20 years. A closer look will disgust all caring folks.
