For me and many others, Nigel, that's certainly not the case here.

Much love to you and Kerry, always.

This is just great great news ! I am quitting my job this month after 14 years doing highly stressful and target driven work . I had a breakdown in February this year and it caught me by surprise . Thought I was coping with the stressful environment but I definitely was not . I made a decision to re priorise my life and feel so much better just by making the decision . I have two very diverse job offers In completely new disciplines . Looking forward to what the next stage of my life uncovers .

Nigel it is never too late to take back control of your life . Been praying for you and will.continue to do so . You are the best . God bless you and your family .

Unfortunately life has never been more stressful than it is now, with no sign of it getting easier anytime soon, you are essentially working for the machine rather than the machine working for you. (Take the phone (And computer) away from most users these days and their life collapses in front of them)

This one tore me up. I've been playing Three Dog Night's " Easy to Be Hard" all afternoon.

My admiration for Nigel goes way beyond the Synthzone. And the combination of Nigel and Kerry...the unquestioned strength and the way they fit together and support each other is humbling.

We should all be very lucky to have that kind of life affirming support.

Thanks to you both for being a very important part of my life.

Lots of love,

R.

Now this is funny. I need funny after the past week. Thanks so much for all your support. It was something that has never happened before and unlikely to happen again I am told. The condition is called Transient Global Amnesia ... never heard of it before.

No further details as of yet ...

He suffered from blood clots in the past.
I hope is ok (mentally)

Thanks so much Eric for reporting this back to the forum. Went to hospital after I made it back and after a barrage of tests and a Catscan there was nothing amiss. Which is a good thing I guess. Kerry was worried it may have been like a mini stroke or something. I am told it is usually a one off condition called Transient Global Amnesia that apparrently only affects men and shouldn't reoccur. It was just weird temporarily losing all reference. I am glad I knew enough to stop driving and pull into a motel.

Nigel, it's so good to hear that you're OK and doing fine, and that your family and we have you back in 'normal condition'.

Never heard of this before, so to learn more about what happened, I found this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transient_global_amnesia

--------------------------------------------

Just thinking about it .....
Maybe the SZ family should celebrate that everything went well and that our 'chief in charge' is 'back in the saddle' again?
In stead of sending flowers, we could use the little yellow donate bottom at the bottom of the page?
Only a suggestion guys ......

Nigel, let me set the picture. I divorced my first wife. Then I left New York and moved to Florida with my new wife. My first wife and her husband moved to Florida, one town away. My new wife said; I can’t believe this. (ouch)

Her husband was out of town on a business trip. My daughter called and told me something is wrong with Mom. We went to see what had happened.
Nigel, she seemed OK, but parts of her memory were gone, her symptoms were very much like yours. That was 30 years ago and she is in good health; her memory came back shortly after.

Great to see you back, John C.

PS, the strange thing about this story is that she never lost the part of her memory the dealt with the bad things I did in our marriage. (aaaaaaaaah)
