If you enjoy of the music of the 60’s , you should see this film. It mostly examines the “ LA sound” / Folk Rock of the mid sixties ( The Birds, Mamas and the Papas, Beach Boys,..,) There’s some really nice covers by Bob Dylan son Jakob Dylan and other more current singers like Norah Jones and Fiona Apple.

I caught a glimpse of Tower Records in one of the "pan" shots. The "canyon" was certainly an "incubator" and the "hatchlings" were numerous. I have and acquaintance who worked at Tower until it's doors were closed for good. He has many great stories to tell.

I won't be around much for a while... surgery awaits me in a few days... but sounds totally survivable.

Meanwhile, keep the home fires burning and the lights on for me.
