Hi Donny,
From your entry on the Korg forum I deduce that you have ( once again ?) purchased the Korg PA1000. Whether that is a wise decision or not is not for me to say and for you to find out.
But having had it for over 18 months now ( though I do not play the arranger keyboard very often anymore) I can say this:
Factory default stuff is pretty crappy, no surprises there. You of all people know that you have to tweak and make a keyboard your own, and besides it is not your first Korg, so you should be well versed there.
In the course of time I have added a fair amount of external samples ( apart from the very good piano sample by Reuben) from Dynamix and Mister Music. Recently I also acquired the proper Musikant extension stick ( so not just the styles) which I thik is a very worthwhile addition even though it does not come that cheap. ( Thomann Music and Music Store, 199 euros).
And I am contemplating of adding the V3 module later on this year. If I do I will keep you guys posted on its merits.......
In short, fully "jazzed up" the PA1000 is a worthwhile contendor with the added bonus of having full internal amplification....
Enjoy !
regards
John
John Thanx for all the information I will look into it once my
Pa700 arrives and I set it up like I did with my Pa1000, Pa4x, etc, etc, units...like I said in a previous post I chose the Pa700 this time because I needed it's features for my needs now
vs the Psr S670 which I enjoyed playing but needed more..
