I purchased a Kn7000 about six months ago. After two days the keys no longer sent information to the keyboard. Pressed the start button and the drums started playing, but no instruments, the left hand was needed to start the instruments. It plays a sequence without any problems, all else seems to be working well. The outside is in excellent condition. .
I am too old to find a repairman who will repair it.

I remember you posted some messages previously about it not working and I had hoped you had fixed it.

Are you certain that Local Control is not turned off in the midi settings? Because that would have the same symptoms you describe.

Apologies if this sounds obvious. It's worth asking.

Your expansion boards should sell for over $100 each, closer to $150, your prices there are too low. Not fair on you to let them go that cheap.

From what you describe I don't think anything is wrong that can't be fixed almost immediately, but then I'm not in the U.S.A. so can't help.
For example 'Pressed the start button and the drums started playing, but no instruments, the left hand was needed to start the instruments' - that's normal...
I think you've forgotten how to use it John - it's been so long...chuckle.

I hate to say it (chuckle), but I agree with Roger.

I think that the memory hold on your left hand is turned off.

Excuse the shocking photography but I've uploaded a picture for you to try.

Press the button outlined in green.

If the area outlined in yellow is not coloured the same as mine is, press the button outlined in blue.



Let us know how you get on.

Also check the other settings in the picture.

Maybe you also have pianist mode turned on accidentally, instead of fingered, and perhaps your split point is in the wrong place (press the split point button a few times to try different positions, you will see the lights change each time you press it).

I think a few minutes experimenting will be worth it.

Even if you decide to still sell it, at least you will know that it is working.
