So Yamaha is sending me a pre-production version of the SX-900 to try out and make some videos.

Does anyone have any specific things they want me to try out?

Hi Frank,

Great stuff, I can't wait to see your vids!

Yes please, would you be able to test out how the Tyros 4 styles sound particularly those with vocals and voices included, from the Ballads, Latin & R&B/Gospel styles that have them?

I do feel very optimistic about this anyway since the data manual seems to include most if not all of those voices within CHOIR/PAD, but you never know !!

Thank you very much smile

Most of all... have fun looking at all the changes they've made. I'm interested in what they may have done to improve the vocal harmony process. Making the transition from my 910 to the 970 I was able to buy from Mason, I had a really tough time adapting to the VH and Vocal Effects. (Manuals are never written for real dummies like me!)

Congratulations on what I consider to be a high honor... and thanks for your generous offer.

All the best... ----Dave

Nice going Frank,
Screen angle view while sitting,
And how it handles styles and sounds from a T-5 and/or a Genos.
Thanks

Hi Frank,
Let me know how PSR SX900 voices sound when compared to Tyros 5 voices especially Strings voices for live performance.

Thanks,
Sunny

See if Vocal Harmonizer has improved, and see if the key touch is different. (Softer the better for me). smile

Frank, how does the overall sound compare to the Genos vs. PSR-S975?

I think i would like to see you play realtime while recording the looper, and then setting it to loop...
And then playing 2 handed piano.. or a guitar part on top of it..
