To morrow I will regret this post!!
I am still a little intoxicated.
But what can I do?
I cannot dissmiss 54 tears of my life.
I know I am not the only one too experience this terrible loss, I am so sad!
Maybe I should have kept off the booze.
Forgive me please.
Regards.
Joe

"Memories
Light the corners of my mind
Misty watercolor memories
Of the way we were.
Scattered pictures
Of the smiles we left behind;
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were..."

Have no regrets, Joe. We are with you...

Hi Joe,

Of course you shouldn't have any regrets or shame about having a few drinks. It is a perfectly normal and understandable reaction to your situation. - And I'm sure that all Synthzoners have sympathy for your sadness.

We cannot possibly put ourselves into your shoes. But - How about this. ?

Have you tried developing an 'ENORMOUS' sense of 'gratitude'. ? - For 54yrs of loving and living. - How fortunate you were. - 'Better to have loved and lost etc etc'.

I would imagine that developing this attitude towards your loss, must help in coping with it. - Worth a try perhaps. ! - You and your 'gratitude' can become liveable bedfellows. - Meanwhile, you know from the responses you've had, that you're not alone. My very best regards,

Colin.

Good Morning Joe,
My name is Phyllis I am John C.’s wife. Our hearts broke with remembered pain as we read your post.
John and I both walked were you are now. I can feel your pain. It seemed to me; the hurt in my heart was strong enough that it could surely kill. I noticed that the pain would come in waves like the ocean. I thought about this. That little reprieve was my gift from God.
I wish you were closer. There is much that you are feeling that we have experienced.
Our prayers are with you.
Phyllis
