the results of alot of practice

Personally playing fast doesn't impress me and is not memorable.

She by far is the more expressive player and has more technical skills then he has..

I loved the way she reached into the piano and dampened the bass strings to create a more realistic bass solo... I never seen this done before..(one of the reasons she is the better all around player..}

I too get tired of fast scale runs that show no musical feel, like many of the so called organ player greats .

In my case it means playing music my audience can't dance to, and not being rehired. (unless it's a polka )

Music is just another language. If we all spoke in a constant flurry and a barrage of words unpunctuated, who'd be interested to listen? With music, we all know that it's not just notes. It's the spaces between the notes that make sense of it.

Playing fast means nothing if it has no musical purpose.
