Here is a "feature by feature" comparison of Genos vs SX900 by the UK Piano group. Definitely highlights the superior features found on the Genos (granted, at 2.5 times the price). He suggests the Chord Looper may soon be added to Genos via Firmware... He only mentions in passing the lack of speakers on Genos vs SX900. More to come I am sure....

Who knows? Maybe there are anticipating a rush to buy the SX900 and they are trying to show there is still a lot of features unique to the Genos..... ??

Playing so much manual bass makes aftertouch a negative for me. Since the entire keybed responds, the velocity changes I make with my left hand would affect the sound on my right. Thankfully, for my style of play - it's mostly chord changes in the right hand, and aftertouch is not something I need for expression. Won't be long now, people - I'll be one the the first SX club members in the US. Bring on the 900. Until it gets here - Season 9 of "The Walking Dead" is keeping me busy, and VERY entertained.

Genos here is roughly 2 1/2 times the price too. Sounds like a great keyboard, but not in the least bit tempted.
Hubby offered me an sx900, only criteria was to get rid of one of the keyboards, even if I just gave it away. So having sold the Pa4x plus his offer of the sx900, I could afford to get a genos but no, happy to get the sx900. Will do me nicely.
I’d probably then be hankering after a genos 2 if genos 1 got replaced.
Safer to stick to mid range, especially for those of us who like to upgrade our toys more often than we probably should. Haha

Ita not 2,5 times the price..
Currently with some negotian, you can have an sx-900 for around €2000 and a Brandnew Genos as cheap as €3200...
I bought my Genos about a year ago, used for €2800..
