On my iPad I have the app „Guitarism“, which allows you to play virtual guitar by wiping on virtual strings and pressing chord buttons.
As the app has midi out, it is possible to midi-record it e.g. to SampleTank.
In the video you hear the result played with a simple SampleTank guitar, so it doesn’t sound great yet. in a next step I want to export the midi file and play the strumming with a Yamaha MODX guitar. At least this is better than trying to play a strumming on a keyboard.
