Are all the styles in this keyboard based on songs?

I would think this is the case. Never owned a keyboard that the styes were not based upon songs. Download the play list for the SX-700 and you will find the links to each style.

Hi,
even if they are , doesn’t mean you can’t use them for other songs.
Sometimes the 2 main intro/ endings are the problem. I use a count in, or the simplest ending, or do a fade out.
I love the Broadway Ballad style , I think the intro’s are based on Beauty and the Beast? The sx version isn’t as blatantly obvious. Either way, I use that style for at least 20 songs at different tempos. Intro may not be useable, so I either play my own , or use the count in.

Personally for what I like to play, I find it easier to find a suitable style than I did on my Korgs. ( currently down to a Korg , I think).
