Hi Rikki, let me guess, was it an African lovebird???? (peachface). I used to breed them extensively for many years, and if tame, they make a great pet. Ray Hi Ray, nothing as exotic as that. Just a little grey and white Cockatiel. Found some hand reared youngsters on Gum Tree this morning, 4 hour road trip tomorrow , found one that looks a lot like him. Not as exotic looking as a lot of our parrots, but they sure do have personality. He had perfect timing too, better than mine actually. He’d bob his head up and down when he or someone else whistled a tune .He loved bashing spoons, especially on glass table tops, the more noise the better. Frustrated drummer, I think. Haha He’s going to be a hard act to follow.

Or, if it sings out of tune, we could name him....uh, naw, let's quit while we're ahead . chas (aka Charlie) Yes , might be a good idea. Haha. Actually learnt to be a bit careful naming my pets, I named one of my little dogs Daisy, love the name, didn’t occur to me at the time that it was also a friend’s nickname. She was not impressed. Too bad, called my next dog Daisy too.
