Anyone here have advice on a reasonably priced 4x4 midi interface or mixer. I want to be able to record all 4 outs of the SX900 simultaneously.
Thanks in advance,
Mitch

Thanks Dave...Behringer does offer a pretty good bang for the buck.

This is what I use.. If you can find one.. grab it.

It is top rated, quality that exceeds the price tag..

Street price new was $250.. but if you find one , you can get it in the same price range as the inferior new models..

Fran, I know the Roland interfaces are solid. It looks like there’s only 2 inputs on this model...even though it says 4 in.

Mitch, you're correct. The 3/4 channel is digital only. You need 4 analog inputs for what you want to do.

Thanks guys...from what I’ve seen, the Behringer may be the way to go.

+1! Behringer makes some great, reasonably priced products for sure! I own a couple Behringer toys including the mixer. Love them!

I've got that model of Behringer and have done some recording and it is pretty clean with a condenser microphone so should be fine with line levels.

As ever with Behringer they go a bit over the top with the advertising. The microphone preamps are certainly low noise and have good headroom but the audiophiles i know would pay the same money as this thing just for a decent cable.

Focusrite preamps are generally considered better but for old ears like mine i can't tell and their stuff is more expensive so it was an easy decision for me and i have no regrets.

Bottom line - unbeatable value for very good performance.
