I have some reg & styles from my S970 on usb..
error message says cannot load properly in genos...
or do I have to start from scratch on genos..

Donny, take a look at PSR Tut, there are several posts and replies about it.
The problem with reg from other kboards is that the way to the style / sounds / folder / category probably not are the same as G is another biscuit.
Some edits has to be done to make it work.

I still have the S-970 and the styles work fine in the Genos.
However if you want to get the best sound start from scratch.
This way you can use the full potential of the Genos.
It is worth it to put the time in.

Yes Eric the custom S styles sound great ....but using the s970 REG is the problem....anyway I will start from scratch this way I find so many more new things to use in each song during setting it up which will take a while ....so far it's full steam ahead.
For the Registration conversion this progran could work..
You need to convert those registrations with Murray Best's Registration Manager program. https://psrtutorial.com/util/best.html

Until the Genos I used to use my old registrations for my new KB as a starting point, which worked great.
However, I feel the Genos is a different animal.
I started with some registrations from my T4, but soon started over again doing it from scratch.
Much better results ....
