One day I might actually get to see a Roland again.
If you're talking G70 and you happen to be in America, you can either stop by Fran's house OR The Smithsonian; it's right next to the Woolly Mammoth exhibit.
Rikki the G70 also has the SMF to style conversion feature.. It was added in version 2 or version 3...
It still can run with the best.
Hi Fran, Must admit I had wondered why I hadn’t come across the g70, I’d owned e80, at least a couple of the RA modules, g800, va7, just checked the date, we’d moved from city to the coast. No access to Roland.
If forget about Technics KN5k, the G70 is the arranger I regret most that I've sold. Yes, it is heavy as a cruiceships anchor, and a nightmare to drag around, but it's build like a tank. Also wonderful keybed, real nice to play at. (In fact SD1 keys was similiar) Not 'plastic fantastic' box as Genos, but solid as a rock. It's like Fran, everlasting. 😁

Ha Ha Ha! Probably excess US Navy band equipment being put to good use! I know the Navy is into recycling their stuff, but this is pushing them to a new level of innovation!
