And he makes a good argument for the 700. The only big thing missing is the chord looper IMO.

Not to start a whole thing on this subject again, but from what I have heard in demos (and I have not used it myself-I had a 750) the Yamaha harmony is not as good as TC Helicon which is built-in to Korg units. That is just my opinion. In fact, I believe you have argued the very same thing before (TC helicon is better), if memory serves. EDIT: [Quote Donny] "the TRACKING is far Superior then anything Yamaha VH,VH2 has ever made." [end quote]

However, I will say that as a person currently playing at home only, the Yamaha harmony would probably be fine for my purposes. The point is, the 700 is a good deal and I agree with See on that.

EDIT: Here is a thread where Gary posted a comparison between TC Helicon Harmony-M and VH2. Almost everyone thought (without knowing which was which) the TC sounded better.

It is no secret the VH2 is far inferior to TC Helicon units I'll agree with that, tracking being the main culprit for pro singers.
The big difference here in price between S models, & Genos
lies in the sound sampling technology which you can certainly hear right away as it should be for a MOTL unit costing half as much.

This guy really does know his stuff, Mike and Randy.

In fact, it was Jeremy that convinced me to buy the PSR-S775...I don't use harmony, but it is cool that the 775 has a mic/line/guitar input (with effects) that also records in audio...the new "half bar" feature is cool although I already had a way around that issue.

The 775 uses all the styles from CVP's/T3/T2 and the older psr's including my old favorite the PSR-S910 ( I created a lot of styles for that old faithful)...I really like it a lot and play it more than my Tyros4.

Personally, I don't feel it lacks anything...in fact, if I was gigging again, I'd have a pair of 775's, one for back-up/home set up, the other in a case ready to go.

Definitely an awesome bang for the buck.
