And he makes a good argument for the 700. The only big thing missing is the chord looper IMO. Hi , also styles and voices. Can now play T3 thru to T5 styles , most sound fine without any tweaking. My S950 couldn’t play a lot of these styles, missing voices. Couldn’t be bothered trying to fix them, they wouldn’t have sounded the same , if the voice didn’t exist on the keyboard. Without the chord looper, the better speakers, the new styles and voices, the scat voices, Bluetooth ( which I use for connecting my iPad) there wouldn’t really have been much point in upgrading, I wouldn’t have bothered just for the sake of a touch screen. Good Points Rikki, and one has to also weigh the price difference, being that the SX-900 costs at least $600 more than the SX-700 So the S950 will not play T3-T-5 styles properly, but the SX900 will? Nice to know. I wonder how the SX-700 would handle those same Tyros styles? And Ian, curious as to how your PSR-775 handles your T-4 styles? Finally thanks Mike for the video link. Something else to think about You're certainly welcome, Larry!  I thought it might help some people decide which they want.

You're certainly welcome, Larry! I thought it might help some people decide which they want. Yep with the help of this forum, I have narrowed it down to... Tyros 5 Still expensive, would be used, but has everything I like, and cheaper than a... Genos May go all out, the latest and greatest, but the price is holding me back SX-900 Looks like this is on my leader board. Seems to be the best all around choice for price, and needs Also considering the SX-700, PSR-975, PSR-775 or even a Korg, or Roland arranger Wait, did I say "narrow" list, lol, but one of these will replace my only arranger keyboard, an ancient PSR-3000, and I'm not good at making these decisions. I need to decide soon before I drive myself up a wall

Just a suggestion; Between the Tyros 5 and the Genos, get the Genos. Unless, as you say, the price is holding you back. If so, and you can find a Tyros 5 at a much better price than the Genos, get it. Between the SX900 and the others (SX700, PSR-975/775, Korg or Roland), get the SX900. You won't regret it. This is just my personal opinion. Whenever I've spent for the best, I've never regretted it. However, I've regretted not getting the best many times. Hope this helps.
