I was looking through an Instagram of Alyona Melnyk, a popular Russian songwriter. She composes music and writes lyrics and is rather successful, as many of Russian pop artists perform her songs. She has been a full-time author for 20 years now.
It was interesting to find out what keyboard she uses when she works at new songs at home:
I guess it’s like a pen for some writers. If stuff you create with it is successful why would you change it? As Alyona says on her Instagram “I don’t depend on inspiration. Sometimes I have to sit and work on new song for hours without a success. I argue with myself, with God, with anything. Then I start to have some progress”.
As I understand, once she finishes a song, she goes to a studio and she works on an arrangement with other musicians. They make a professional demo with professional singers and then a song is offered to a popular artist.
very interesting good luck to her the scratch-pad kb she uses at home is just that.. but all the magic happens afterwards at the studio post production before it's all mastered and released...

What is what? If you’re wondering about a keyboard, that’s Casio CTK-800. If you’re wondering about what this topic is doing here, well; it’s just about one songwriter using this keyboard to make songs. We know that Yamaha promotes Genos as a tool for this purpose. :-)
Hi, I think I read somewhere that is how Steve A does his songs too ? Uses the arranger to write the song, then uses studio musicians to do the final recording.
