Never had this problem before and done updates no probs many times.

When I power Up the Genos holding the Start/Stop button I get the usual searchingt for update data then I get "please insert the device containing data." I have tried many usb's (and yes the USB is working in the drive) and followed all instructions as per the update procedure by Yamaha.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated??

Ok solved!. For some strange reason on my mac when you have a previous download of the install file it gives it a new name like-2 -3 -4 etc etc. So you will need to remove other downloads of the setup file and make sure after the word setup its jus "t.prg"
