Yum Yum! I was cleaning squirrels like that 60 years ago! And the aging helps make them tender. I just might make a quick visit to the back yard tomorrow; they are taking over out there.

I loved watching that. I am fascinated by all things “internal” and used to watch live operations all the time when I had a tv subscription.
I’m sure Fran thought it was funny, but I was glued to the screen the whole time. Gotta get me some “tree chicken”. 🤣

Yep, I cleaned my first squirrel before I was 10, cleaned it the same way, though I didn't make gravy and biscuits, my mom did that part, but said she wouldn't eat the squirrel, though - thought it looked too much like a rat. smile
