Donny i played today in a shop on the EA7 and i can say that many styles are the best , especialy r&b ,funk ,jazz 'pop and latin, but the sounds are average some are good -supirior grand piano and some acoustic drumes , but mostly i felt like playing on key from 15-20 yeares ago . Dud, there are many sounds going back 15 plus years.. (G1000, G70, Fantom G, and they were considered very good.. There are also many sounds from the SRX boards (exceptional).. The Stage 88 acoustic piano is an example of a great sound. There are many new drum kits too.. I have found that I like to raise velocity levels with many of the sounds(brings them to life). I would not expect the E-A7 to sound better than the Genos (4 times the cost).. But I think the E-A7 holds it own against most keyboards in the same price range and even many more expensive models..
