Personally: I dislike the heavy piano action.
I really like the Hammond action. Fast and very positive. It's as though the key depresses vertically, almost straight down instead of a noticeable tilt or 'pivot' action, hinged from the rear. I mostly play organ voices anyway, so having an action that facilitates playing at different velocities isn't essential.

Perhaps I have bad playing habits, i.e., not keeping my wrists up. And I don't have $1300 to throw away on an instrument that's not an autochord. But I would love to try an arranger with the Hammond-action keyboard such as the Hammond XE-1 (XE200 in England), or at least MIDI my BK-7m to a Hammond SK1! This is one of the reasons I would like to see Roland offer its Chord Intelligence in a 'black box' with MIDI thru.
