Dave,
It goes without saying that the M1 was spectacular at the time and as such has been superseded by lots of stuff.
However you are missing the point here as regards the forte of this VST deal.Below a link to a review in Sound on Sound. Some of the essentials worth mentioning are:
1
All Cards etc.etc. that were released at the time with extra samples and sounds for both M1, M1ex and T1 models have been included , I believe well over 40 in all now.....And all its sounds and combis of course.
2
In contrast with the original M1 they have added the Resonance Filter to the Cut off filter which is VERY VERY important and was a great deficiency at the time.
3
Polyphony has now been increased to almost limitless !!!
4
the price being 49 dollars is of course another tempting argument.
For gigging this is totally useless. For playing at home , either as a professional or ,like me, as a hobbyist it may be well worth considering if you are into VST sounds.
I have incorporated this modul into my Mixcraft 9 Pro and it works great !!
regards
John
P.S. Bachus I am not sure whether the Ipad version contains all the extras as well ,but if it does I stand corrected.
