I’m going to be selling my KMA Liverpool and looking for a full size arranger keyboard. The EK50L has caught my interest, but now comes along the i3. I know they’re both new and maybe not even available. But for you Korg veterans how do you think these two compare? Both are under $600. I’d probably like to pair this up with a Studiologic X2 piano.

Cass trust me on this... try to find a Pa50SD in good condition. Or if you're not wedded to the KMA o.s., a used PA600. You'll be way better off. The boards you mentioned are entry-level. They reuse the KMA operating system, but have removed some features and didn't add any that I know of.

What Korg should have done was to move the MicroArranger OS into the Kross2 chassis and call it the MiniArranger. 9 lbs battery power, full features, and full-size keys. THAT i would have bought!

Thanks, Ted. I had a Pa1000 and couldn’t use it as effectively as I wanted. No one has said anything about the i3, but I surmise it’s not much different than the rest.

If only Roland would repackage the G70 as a module or a much lighter keyboard.
