I think where ketron shines is their module versions..
I think currently the ultimate setup might be a Roland Fantom+ketron SD90+mainstage/vst..
I played the sd9 a few times..
Great keybed..
Love love love the launchpads..
Its a perfect tool for minimalistic accompaniments..
One base, 4 drum patterns and 4 guitar patterns. And 3 solo’s ..
It definately takes a different approach, and thinking out of your comfort zone..
But the results will be amazing, much more live then the standard accompaniment
If you like using multipads, like i do .. (for example having 4 multipads with different guitar strumming)
The you will also love the sd90
Ketron makes the best arrangers..
However
The ketron voices are okay, but slightly trail the other Totl arrangers..
Also hugely dissapointing is that you can not edit the GM voices used in the styles..
And then there is the disputable reputation of Ketron Italy..
But AJ and Kurt really put a lot of effort in the US division of Ketron.
We also have a very reliable dealer here in Holland..
