It was just brought to our attention that many KETRON users do not know of this new feature found in the SD9/SD60/SD90 units.... 8 Variations instead of the traditional 4!

This is illustrated in this video we did demonstrating one of the new American Country styles with walking bass lines (starting at 00:33).

Notice top left side of screen dedicated to displaying style content -- showing A-1, B-1, C-1 and D-1 .. etc. These are the 1st 4 standard variations. At 02:04, variation 8 is activated by simply pressing Arr D once more to go from Var D_1 (Variation 4) to D_2 (Variation 8).

So ... to better understand how it works, any style that has 8 variation parts will show up as shown (as is the case with most AjamSonic styles):-

Variation : Screen displays ...
Var 1 = A_1
Var 2 = B_1
Var 3 = C_1
Var 4 = D_1
Var 5 = A_2 (accessed by pressing Var A twice).
Var 6 = B_2 (accessed by pressing Var B twice).
Var 7 = C_2 (accessed by pressing Var C twice).
Var 8 = D_2 (accessed by pressing Var D twice).

If you load a style and see A, this means this style only has 4 variation parts (as is the case with many arranger keyboards today).
However, if you load a style and see A_1, this means this style has 8 variation parts. 1-4 are accessed by pressing ARR A-D once, while 5-8 are accessed by pressing ARR A-D twice quickly.
