Thought you folks may like to know that the Technote site is back but it seems only as a shopping site - including sales of kn5000 styles which are available for free via Technicskn7000.com

AND, when I tried to access their Forum I was connected to Synthzone!!

I can see the site is "redesigned", and when
I clicked for the forum, a message about that
"the forum is now closed" came up as we've
seen since it was closed down.
I think you're right, Technote is now pure
commersial and everything is about selling.

.....and yes, the Forum link at the top of the
page sendt me back to SZ as well

The free kn5000 styles on kn7000.com will only load into a kn7000.
If you have a 6000 or 6500 they are no use to you, so the 5000 reprise disks are still useful for those owners, particularly since they also have all 8 fills for each style included, which were not saved on the 5000, and each panel memory and style and all custom stylists containing all the original descriptions for those who used these to find their favourites. They were also optimised for bass lines and others in chord modify change for the transition to NX sound from pre-NX.

Technics Player, you said

"The free kn5000 styles on kn7000.com will only load into a kn7000. If you have a 6000 or 6500 they are no use to you"

And If you have a new kn2600? How may you use 5000 styles? At original format, or converted to 7000? Or nothing at all?

I'm afraid all I can say at the moment is to have a little patience, because I am assuming we might see something ...
