CCR was one of my many favorites from that era. Great songs done is a straightforward way. Especially being in KY at the time those songs fit the era and area. Fogerty was the heart of the band and its a shame jealousy from the other members crept in and ruined it. He wrote the songs, played lead and did all the singing. I'd of been happy to sit in the back on a B3 and Rhodes and go along for the ride.

John, have you ever recorded this song? I would enjoy your voice and feeling. Sorry about John Fogerty, I do not mean to offend anyone, he is just not my type of singer.

John, this is your post, but while I was listening to John sing I saw a song by one of my old favorites, Neal Diamond. He added a few things in his song about the times we are going through today. Nice

Hi John,

Thanks for the suggestion. Not gonna happen though. I tried my hand at it but the vocal range is simply too wide for me to do any justice to the song. Shame really cause I like his songs a lot...
Never mind, have a look at the recording I did this morning on guitar. Incidentally the Cello sound is from the Ketron SD7!!

Me, too, John. I've met Fogerty...really nice guy, but his music never did much for me. Neither did Neal Diamond.
