Met both Bucky and John at the JazzKat amplifier booth at Summer NAMM 10 years ago or so.

John should be proud to be Bucky's son.

Russ, I bet they were both down to earth. When the younger Pizzarelli performed at the prep school he hung around the lobby signing autographs and talking with folks.

Most people only know him from the Foxwoods Casino commercials

Probably, but he has a pretty full concert schedule, which, of course, is currently postponed ...

I had forgotten that he did the Foxwoods commercial.

A couple of years ago he and his wife Jessica Molaseky were doing shows a few nights a week at Cafe Carlye in the hotel in NYC. I thought would that be great head to NYC for weekend catch the show and maybe even stay at the hotel..........forget about it! Cost prohibitive would have cost about $800 counting the hotel stay, dinner show and parking.
