Watch this Italian Grandma as she cooks, sings, and takes your mind to a happy place! She reminds me of my own Granny, and her food looks delicious! Bon Appétit!

She reminds me of home ... and it's comforting. Forget your carbs restrictions every now and then. You gotta live. You gotta love! Besides, you post more food extravagances than I ever did! lol

Why? .....in my family's town in Italy a speedo is a normal site on the beaches Americans are hung up on sex here.. Europeans view it differently.
Yes, and people shouldn't be ashamed of their bodies, BUT ... we've been blessed to visit Italy several times, and I've seen many men in speedos and women in thongs who just shouldn't be ... and it has nothing to do with sex, in fact it's the opposite ... -BTW, in Europe if it's a one piece bathing suit it's only the BOTTOM -

Haha, Over here they call them budgie smugglers.
Our ex Prime Minister used to wear them, ( and the press gave him hell) . There again he is a Beach Life Saver for his local community, ( and life savers all have to wear them) . I don’t think it was out of choice. Haha

Dave Nice. She reminded me of my grandmother cooking in her summer home on Long Island N.Y. An elderly grandmother cooking a fantastic meal for all her children.
The room was fairly large, and packed with her children and grandchildren -- music, and laughter. I miss those times.
Thanks again Dave, John C. PS, I had to read your post twice, thought you were passing yourself as an Italian. (smile)

Funny, My mom's side of the family is 100% Italian, we do many traditional things that relate, but we never observed St Joseph's day. Never heard a mention before tuning in here. Every Sunday was an Italian holiday at our house - long dinners - lots of courses - lots of argume.....DISCUSSIONS Great people, great memories.

Dave, St. Joseph's is more a Sicilian celebration ... My ancestors are from Naples, and we never 'celebrated' St. Joseph's, but when I met my wife, whose family is Sicilian, I found out what a celebration it is for them, which includes food made only for St. Joseph's day ...

I don't think those words exist in the Italian language ...BUT while most of it had pasta it also had vegetables and sea food ... I have to say it did not fit my palate ...
