Not an arranger, but I bought this to work with my setup.

I'm liking my new Compact 2X but would like to adjust the keyboard touch sensitivity and possible the velocity curve. The Global menu doesn't seem to have these options available.

I have the 2x and never liked the keybed feel. There is a setting for Velocity Curve with 3 settings (soft/medium/hard). I tried all three but it did not substantially change the keybed feel. There is also a Fixed Curve with a range from 1-127, but I never tried that. Good piano and acoustic bass, not that impressed with the other voices, but that's JMO. Good luck with it. I was thinking midi controller when I bought it but never really used it for that. I have other controllers with better keybeds.

You can run the midi trough an external app like camelot pro..
And then back into the studiologic

This allows you to use the advanced midi vellocity curves of the camelot pro app

The keybed itselves is a fatar, same type as ketron uses in the sd9 i think..
So a good vellocity curve could make the whole difference

This might be just the ticket, can do zones, AND a pedal unit can be attached via MIDI IN and mergeded MIDI data from pedals and lower to SX-900 Or Genos (or any arranger).
