Sad! I read on another forum... he had COPD and came in contact with COVID 19. Life is short... take full advantage!

There is a Muelenberg County reunion at the Kentucky Horse park every year, sponsored by two brothers who are developers.

Played it often with a partner, Preston Weber. Prine showed up one year. Over 3,000 attended. Sang Muelenburg County.

People who think he was just a country writer/singer were WRONG. He was one of the real socially conscious observers of the human condition.

"OH DADDY, WON'T YOU TAKE ME BACK TO MUELENGERG COUNTY, DOWN BY THE GREEN RIVER WHERE THE CLEAR WATERS FLOW".
