The A800 Pro will totally control the BK7 and it comes with software to help set it up.
SOMEWHERE I have a complete setup I saved when I had this rig. I had 50 buttons, sliders, etc. programmed to control the BK7, and could do a lot of things you can't do from the module itself.
I also have a similar setup for the Ketron SD40.
If you go this route I'll try to find it if you are interested.

We had them at my school. They have a small footprint, nice, firm action, minimal buttons - just an affordable, functional way to get key info into your sounds of choice. They stack really well, because of the absence of buttons and sliders.

Here are the maps I found. I would think the ones with (2) in the title are the latest I did.
They are actually midi files that tell the controller what to do. You will need the program that comes with the 800 Pro. Instructions are with the program.
I hope they are useful if you go that way.

what should it matter LOL?? maybe you should re visit the G70 (if you can find one) and realise why some people are still playing them I own and play the G70 every day and cant see anything replacing it at the moment. It is THAT good! :-).

@Fran - good tip on the "favourite tones" I never really thought of that but it makes total sense and is so easy to do...

I have been spending alot of time lately using song make up tools for midi files that i have accumulated over time. what a breeze to edit midi files and save them for your performances on the keyboard.. something I was never able to do on a korg or Yamaha keyboard without using a computer based DAW and even still was a nightmare. Every time the midi file would start from the beginning all the tracks would revert back to their auto re voice.. so annoying and painful to overcome!!

I noticed a G70 has been put up for sale by someone locally in Australia on Gumtree.com.au for $2800 AUD (currently about $1700USD). The seller states "Reluctant sale as I still believe it’s one of the best keyboards made - ahead of its time".. it makes me smile as I can totally concur with that statement .
