I posted this song on a Yamaha forum recently and though some here might like to here it. It was done on the job using the Yamaha Genos earlier this year. Abilene on Genos

No. I hardly ever record anything unless I'm playing on the job somewhere. I mostly record so I can critique myself. I do have plenty of EA7 songs recorded though.

Don, chas covered it very well in the 'Whiskey River' thread, but man, you are just SO damn convincing with your guitar emulation ... played both songs for Lydia and our daughter and they couldn't believe it wasn't a guitar player ... Please, just keep posting ...

Thanks guys. Not sure what the voice was, but it was probably whatever was in the OTS. There are so many good ones in the Genos. I only kept the Genos for a couple of months, but it had a lot of things to like on it.
As Tony already remarked it is uncanny how realistic you make your righthand guitars sound on most any keyboard that you play. Must have been a guitar player in a previous life, my guess!!
Great tune and well played and sung.Although the drums are not on par with Ketron imho it goes to show that it does not make that much of a difference which totl keyboard you have as long as you can play.........and for some, can sing.......
