Some may scoff at the instrument, but hopefully some of you might find this a very enjoyable relaxing listen in what are very unsettling times for us all. The full album is on the link. If you don't listen to it all, at least listen to track 3 which l think is a beautiful piece of music.

Russ, there so many types of music which bring you to different type of emotion --- As I listen to the song, the word that came was, refreshing and pure.
Thank you for sharing, it was good way to start my day. John C.
More than one person. I love that musical form (Celtic). I find it haunting...melancholy but not depressing. This was beautifully performed and I loved the song near the end using the Amazing Grace songform. Very nice.

I know exactly what you mean. Track 3 that l mentioned is Highland Cathedral. I find it very moving and a piece of music that you can let your thoughts drift in the moment.

I appreciate the skill needed to play the pipes, but even with 1/2 Irish lineage ... I honestly never thought of the sound as "relaxing". It's not an easy instrument to blow .... even for wind players.

Russ, I've listened to most of it now, over the past couple of days. Didn't expect to like it, but I really do! It has been very enjoyable and more constructive use of time that a lot of things I've been doing during the "shutdown". Thanks for finding and sharing this.
l'm glad you've found it an enjoyable listen. l was hoping some of you guys might appreciate some of the arrangements as there's so much more to the album than just being a pipe band.
