Hello,

I've been given a XD3 (with internal HD) in not really good shape.

I plan to fit a SD+USB reader to replace the floppy disk drive but before investing into this I need to completely check the XD.

First I tried loading some patterns from the floppy diskettes and had some Checksum errors, then finaly the patterns loaded.

I suspected a flash memory issue (the device is not equipped with the flashram expansion), so it might be onboard flash issue.

I found in a forum a way to enter the test/diagnostic mode of the XD by pressing F1 + F10 simultaneously and ran the diagnostics.


Here are the errors I get :

70 FLASH CHECK SUM ERROR BANK : 00E2
09: DSP0 Error : 0000

Anybody knows what could be these errors ?
