My friend who just passed away, has an apartment filled with furniture and music equipment. His children, who do not live here in Boynton Beach, Fl, have asked me to clear the apartment.
All Consignment and music stores are on lock-down. (Not answering phone calls)
Any ideas will be appreciated, John C. PS, I will be making a list of what is to be sold shortly.

Donny, I hate to say this but both children have little knowledge about things that are common to us. The daughter lives in New York, and the son live in Porta Gorda. (spelling?) The son has a small car.

John - there is a saxophone forum which has a lot of members and it is a great place to market saxes and other related equipment... it is www.saxontheweb.net. Hope this helps and sorry for the bad news.

Randy, great idea, thank you. Your sound and improvisation are the closest I have heard to my friend who passed. I guess I am saying you are real good.

If you are on Facebook, then Marketplace is the best way to sell a lot of stuff. Local area first, no charge, local pickup, etc. EBay has gotten outrageous on fees, and Reverb also charges a fee. I have used Craig's List too, but there are a LOT of scammers on it, so use extreme caution there.

Thanks John and sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. 2020 has not been a good year so far in many respects. I have frequented the saxontheweb forum and there are tons of players there who are always looking to acquire gear so hopefully that may be a way to get your friend's instruments to a larger potential audience. Good luck and bless you for the help you are providing to that family! Stay safe!
