Watching the above video reminds me of the wonderful times I had in the Florida Keys playing music at the outdoor restaurants, bars and beach parties while I lived aboard my sailboat in Marathon Key, Florida, basking in 75 to 80 degree sunshine every day. That was just one of the many things on my bucket list that I managed to get in during my insane life as an entertainer. When the Spring Breakers showed up every night was exactly how it appeared on the video. And, because I knew and performed a lot of Jimmy Buffett songs, I had all the jobs I could handle and at top wages. Lord I didn't want to sail back home to the frozen wilds of Maryland, but if not, I probably would not still be married.
One of the things I've always like about Jimmy Buffett music is that the lyrics always told a great story - zany as some of those stories were, they were great. All you had to do was listen and you were right in the middle of an adventure along with Jimmy. His music, obviously is not for everyone. However, the vast majority of the country and world seem to enjoy what they hear and are willing to endure huge crowds and pay top dollar to see and hear him perform.
All the best,
Gary
