Typical Polish wedding.

Played alone on the front porch as the bride left for church.
Played for breakfast after church. (This picture)
Played after dinner for dancing with a drummer and bass player.

What a precious picture, bow ties, bride, groom, and an accordion player, with a small amp. Is that a clarinet he is playing?

Yes my friend is playing the "licorice stick", and he also doubled on Tenor Sax.

I'm going to say I was about 14-15 years old because we weren't able to drive, and I remember the drummer's Dad always bitching about having to cart us to and from the jobs.

That's really great to see. My first band job was after I was in high school. Five of us lived on Oak Street in a little town in Oklahoma. Of course we named our band the Oak Street Five.
We had me on trumpet, in addition to a sax, drums, bass horn (tuba), and another trumpet. We played mostly with music and did songs we had learned in high school band. I remember we did Stardust, Wonderland By Night, Rock Around The Clock, etc.... all instrumentals. Two of us were pretty good, the other three not so much! It was one of only two "gigs" we ever had. This month one of the five passed away; I still keep in touch with the others. None of them except me went on to play music after high school.
