Though I was more impressed by Chuck Berry,Jerry Lee Lewis etc. all of them were great artists and due to my age ( born in 1951) I missed all of the rock and roll haydays, unfortunately.
(although UK singer Cliff Richard who came along in 1958 and has been going on until today, still performing full concerts ) made up for that loss in my instance..)

Forty years ago, 1980 that is, I recorded Tutti Frutti in my living room with the aid of a Sony tape-deck, an electric guitar and a track from the so-called DrumDrop L.P.s which I am sure the elder among you will recall. ( there were five of them each containing 15 different drumtracks played by an L.A. professional drummer). So you had to play along with the drummer so to speak rather than the other way round. Oh and not being a solo guitar player it took me hours to concoct something vaguely resembling a guitar solo. hahaha, those were the days !!!!

John - great job! Very nice recording, including the playing and singing! You did a commendable job - recording/mix has a nice ambiance to it too. Super job!

thanks Donny. I also had a complete album recorded on a metal disk way back when in 1970. You had to send in a cassette to an address in the UK and then you got a one copy L.P. with a metal surface beneath the grooves.....I've still got it !!
No Tutti Frutti on the SD7 for me. I would like to move with the times as to recording new songs, but also recording golden classics that I have never recorded before. As soon as my health permits I will be back at it.
In the meantime it is so good to hear that you are enjoying the Ketron SD7 more and more. Stay with it my friend and make some great recordings with you to share with us and make you proud!

John
