I know this is an old unit now but they are still being sold and on the website it states you can download Audio Loops for free.
When I downloaded them it turns out they are Midi files, I can't see any WAV or other Audio files in any of the folders.

Can anyone who owns the SD1000 tell me if there are any Audio Loops available for use in a DAW with this unit and if so how do I find them?

The audio data is inside the SD1000, but triggered by the midi sequences which you download.

So when you download say the SAMBA.mid file and play with your DAW, it 'triggers' the audio elements (chopped wave file segments) inside the SD1000 to create the full Audio sequence.
