You can use an Ipad /tablet or equivalent ... and use just one set of registrations to trigger both (however, you must have the registrations matched up ... so the first registartion in the Yamaha for Song A, MUST be the first registration in the KETRON for Song A too).

Manufactures would need to be encouraged to adopt the Wersi & Bohm way (Or similar) as they can control external modules as if they were integrated into the instrument. (Probably unlikely though as the Arranger is designed as a standalone all in one)
