Awesome vid demonstration of Physical Modeling instruments using a ROLI midi controller. I really hope keyboard makers start using physical modeling more. These types of voices are low on your CPU, and the footprint is small. Just imagine having voices like SWAM in a keyboard that has aftertouch, breath controller input, and a ribbon controller.

Actually physical modelling is more CPU intensive (Although the algorithms used have improved the efficiency in recent years) as it constantly calculating how to get the desired result from the input. (This is the reason it is not used in a lot of keyboards as they just do not have the necessary processing power) After saying that, when it comes to computers than multi-core CPUs are common these days so each instrument can have its own core. (Something not possible in most keyboards) Physical is the way to go (I pretty much thought it would be common place by 2020 with the increase in CPU power that was occurring in the 00s) and the sooner the better.

It’s a lot more efficient than what it used to be. MODO Bass barely scratches my CPU. I think a big problem in the keyboard industry is lack of utilizing more modern tech. It’s like they’ve been following the same hardware model for the last 20 years.

Altough where it comes to service and such.. They also make camelot pro, a wonderfull host.. We are waiting on the promissed updates for 18 months now..
Something very recognisable with many other Italian companies..
In Holland we have a saying .. A perfect product is designed by an Italian Build be a German And sold by a Dutch man.. ( where after sales service and customer support is part of the selling)

They sure are first class. I see the complete bundle is $1400,a big saving over the individual prices of $170-350. It ain't cheap. They sure would make my wind controller create some attention,if I only had an audience.
