Dear Technic Friends. As Bebop explained I just had a major surgery and have been slowly recovering for 3 months. I had some time on my hands so I decided to make a new web page. My address is: http://joerodney.tripod.com/index.htm Please drop in a let me know what you think.
It is a rather small site but works fine
I included song set #1 for those who did not download the along with song set #2. Thank you. Joe Rodney

Hi Joe

Nice web site. Thanks for that

The recent songs you sent me were in a format (.lnk), neither I, nor my computer are familiar with.

I would really like those songs, so please advise

Thanks

Joe has just resent them after I advised him they were incorrect. I am playing them now and they are great as all of Joe's music always has been.
Joe, we must get together for another Jam session. I hope by May you will be able to travel up to Northern California and join us in our Synthzone Jam at our place.
Best to you you and yours
Bebop

Two comments: FIRST, thanks, Joe Rodney, for a great site, and those great "oldies" songs that we "oldies" all remember.
SECOND, to Joe Baron for helping me accept my idiocy! All these years, I, too, thought the song was "Mr." Saturday Dance..., and, like you, it blew my mind to find out it is actually "MISSED the Saturday Dance..."

Keep cool, both of you, and thanks for your work and comments.

Ted Rose

P.S. Joe Rodney--GET WELL SOON!!!!!

So now I am confused.
Is it...

"Mr. Saturday Night"

or "Don't Get Around Much Anymore"

or "Missed The Saturday Dance"

or "Mister Saturday Dance"

or "Mister Saturday Missed The Dance On Saturday Night, He Don't Get Around Much Anymore"

Hey Larry,

I guess maybe I am a somewhat guilty party to the confusion. Sorry for that! To try to answer the question that seems to be confounding you, the song is actually entitled "Don't Get Around Much Anymore". It is the first line that says "Missed the Saturday dance..." or (as Joe Baron and I thought it might be: "Mr. Saturday Dance..."), and it is that first line that had some of us confused. Maybe this will clear things up, Larry.

Cheers.

Ted
